Summer Academy
LANGUAGE AND CULTURE IN THE BOARDERLANDS OF THE EASTERN SILK ROAD
The Department of Linguistics at the University of Vienna is hosting a Summer School as part of the "EurAsian Transformations" Summer Academy. The Summer School will focus on the specific languages of the Eastern Silk Road and will offer courses in:
- Bactrian (Indo-European: Middle-Iranian) - Melanie Malzahn
- Tocharian (Indo-European) - Hannes A. Feller
- Tangut (Sino-Tibetan) - Xun Gon
- Gandhari (Indo-European: Middle-Indic) - Angelo Mascheroni
Ideally, participants should participate in all the courses since they are offered as a comprehensive package.
